Bonjour, y’all! Let us introduce ourselves: we’re that little storefront on Washington Avenue—you know, that unassuming little shop a few doors down from Commander’s Palace? But see, when you walk through these shiny lacquered doors, you’re in for something bold. The smells of cappuccinos and fresh crêpes fill the air, and you might just feel like you’re stepping into a bustling café in Paris.

Ti Adelaide Martin and Lally Brennan, co-proprietors of Commander's Palace and Le Petit Bleu, sitting in the cafe. They are smiling at each other and clinking glasses.

From morning ‘til evening, think of Le Petit Bleu as your little slice of Paris right here in the Garden District. Now of course we serve everything with a New Haute Creole-twist, so you’ll be able to grab our favorite French Truck Chicory Coffee with a Candied Pecan Biscotti for breakfast, or stop in for lunch for a Cajun Crêpe, made with charred chili boudin, chicken liver mousse, cracklin’, and herb salad—no reservations or dress code required.

When Commander’s Palace co-proprietor Ti Martin was young, her mother Ella Brennan took her and her cousin (and fellow co-proprietor!) Lally Brennan on restaurant scouting trips all over the world. They'd eat everywhere and everything. After they tried crêpes in Paris, they insisted on getting them everywhere—on ski trips in Vail, more trips to Paris, New York City, you name it.

The two of them had long been dreaming of creating their own little slice of Paris—right in the Garden District.
